Founded in 2005 under the aegis of the Istanbul Education and Culture Foundation (İSTEK) and Yeditepe University, the Yeditepe University Healthcare Institutions (YUHI) group is one of the most established and respected multidisciplinary hospital groups in Turkey and the region, treating 30,000 patients annually at 3hospitals, a health center and Turkey’s first and only private medical faculty and teaching hospital. The Clínica Universidad de Navarra (CUN) is part of the University of Navarra. CUN is a university institution. This implies that considerable importance is given to teaching and research. CUN closely collaborates with the faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy and Sciences and also with the School of Nursing and the Center for Applied Medical Research (CIMA). Soon Chun Hyang University Bucheon started to gain attention for achieving the latest hospital environment, since its establishment in 2001 and is capable of leading the healthcare of the 21st century. It currently operates 1,000 beds and is the region's only tertiary hospital, staffed by over 1,600 employees including 300 doctors, 600 nurses and other personnel. HIMCHAN Hospital has been providing specialized medical services and customer services since it opened YONSOO Hospital in Incheon, Korea in 2002 with the slogan "a benevolent art' and has built up a reputation as a hospital specializing in articular and spinal diseases. It is composed of 8 hospitals located in Gangnam. Gangbuk, Gangseo, Mokdong, Bupyeong, Incheon, Busan, Changwon and can have more than 1,200 inpatients. It has set up a specialized treatment system and sets medical environment so as to treat every type of articular diseases. It succeeded in the thirty thousandth knee replacement surgery in November 2008, and performed the eighty-thousandth surgery as of January 2014. In addition, it implants autologous chondrocytes or cartilage along with arthroscopy and cartilage explant culture. In November 2011 the Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare recognized its two branches as hospitals specializing in articular diseases.
