Soroka Medical Center located in Beersheba, Israel, is the largest medical center in the southern region of the country, and the fourth largest in Israel with the capacity of approximately 1,000 beds. JCI Accreditation

Joint Commission International operates in the United States for more than 75 years, specializing in enhancing and improving the quality of medical care and patient safety in more than 16,000 US health care institutions. Millions of dollars have been invested in the certification process, which began in 2006. The review is based on respect for more than 1300 international standards established in various areas of medicine and covering all activities of the hospital. In March 2012, Soroka Medical Center successfully passed the second test and was certified as a holder of the highest international mark of quality and safety of health services by JCI.
